At Masters, Joe is responsible for the plans to further increase the customer base and provide excellent service to their accounts. The plans will be implemented through an aggressive sales program and further acquisitions. Joe took over the operation 12 years ago and has delivered double digit growth over his tenure. That increase has come from providing professional and courteous service to all, and in return, the customers have continued to show their trust with more work.
Joe graduated from St. Johns University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance in 1988. He later went back to St. Johns University to complete a Masters of Business Administration in 2000, with a concentration in Finance and Marketing. He also holds all of the required pest control licensing and certifications required by New York State.
Prior to acquiring Masters, Joe held the position of Vice President of Perfect Commerce, working with Fortune 50 Corporations across the United States. His responsibilities were to assist large Companies in negotiating the sales and purchasing of all assets. It was Joe’s responsibility to bring bottom line savings to the Corporation. He has had the pleasure of working with such Corporations as Starbucks, Lyondell Chemicals and Bank One.
Joe was introduced to the Pest Control Industry as a teenager by his father, who owned Action Exterminating. One of the investment firms that Joe worked with needed advice on purchasing a large Pest Control Company, and knowing his knowledge of the business, they hired Joe to handle the acquisition. After the deal was complete, Joe made the decision to continue on in the Pest Control Industry, starting DiMaggio Pest Control in 2003.
Joe is an affiliate member of the Bronx Manhattan-North Association of Realtors and serves on the board and several planning committees. He also supports the annual golf outing for Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP). and serves on the Golf outing planning committee for Community Mainstreaming Associates, an organization dedicated to providing group homes and support for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He also has served as the President of The Jewish Congregation of Brookville now known as Congregation L’Dor V’Dor, a reform synagogue in Oyster Bay, NY where he has been a Congregant and a board member for over 15 years.
Joe has been married to his wife Robin since 1990. They reside in Syosset. They are the proud parents of Sara and Jonah. Sara resides in Australia with her fiancé Shane and Jonah is an active US Marine assigned to MCAS New River in Jacksonville, NC.
If asked what his favorite thing is – his answer will be “A day spent with my family!”

Comedy Night is our annual fundraising event, which raises much needed funds for CMA. Now approaching its 13th year, Comedy Night has grown from an event with 50 individuals in attendance to an extraordinary evening with over 400 donors enjoying the professional setting of Caroline’s on Broadway.
