CMA’s Community Habilitation services target the needs of men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities who live at home but who need support services and life skills development to increase their independence. This also includes people who are transitioning from school to adulthood who may not be ready to move into a group home, as well as other individuals from our community. Services include social skills/peer to peer skills development; independent home living skills; travel skills development; recreational activities, etc. CMA provides person centered services in community settings that enable each person to pursue individual goals and to develop the life skills that encourage independence.
